Our most popular course, the intensive Lurnin SAT program prepares the student for all sections of the SAT exam, including the essay. The Lurnin SAT course requires a minimum of 10 class sessions for prep. An in-depth diagnostic test is administered prior to instruction to diagnose strengths and weaknesses and generate a projected SAT score.
The results from the diagnostic will determine the course of our individualized and focused instructional lessons. Homework assignments are tailored to each student’s specific needs, allowing for ample practice with questions encountered on the SAT.
Each lesson involves both content and strategy review  designed to increase scores in all subject areas.

TEST PREPARATION PROGRAMS

PSAT Preparation- 10 hours

The PSAT, or Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test, is designed to help students practice for the SAT. It is also known as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT), since scores are used to determine eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program. While colleges do not use this test in their admissions Top scorers can gain entry into competitive universities. As well as qualify for scholarships Our tutors focus on your individual needs, including the 3 parts of the PSAT.

SAT Preparation- 10-25 hours

A full-length, timed SAT test is proctored to each student to mimic the rigors of the actual SAT. The Ivy program also includes unlimited access to our online library of practice problems and test prep resources

This is a great option for students looking for targeted review and help with specific question types! Generally speaking, students can expect to improve anywhere from 10-30 points on a specific section (Reading, Math, Writing) for every 5-8 hours of a la carte Lurnin services!  Prep for the SAT exam, provided they complete all of the prescribed homework assignments.

SUMMER CAMP

The Lurnin camp offers a summer camp for students who need a test preparation on the two major college admission exams: the ACT, administered by American College Testing, and the SAT, administered by the College Board. Our courses are based on a simple premise: familiarity and practice are the keys to success in these two main examinations, through a playful practice. We offer different programs, which will develop skills helping in the process of changing from high school to college and will strengthen skills for the execution of the SAT or ACT exams.
